Claude::Agent::Message::ToolProgress - Long-running tool progress event
DESCRIPTION
Emitted while a tool call is still running, so a consumer can show that the agent is busy.
ATTRIBUTES
type
Always tool_progress.
tool_use_id
The tool use being reported on.
tool_name
The tool's name.
elapsed_time_seconds
How long the tool has been running.
task_id
The background task, when the tool runs one.
uuid, session_id, parent_tool_use_id, agent_id, raw
See Claude::Agent::Message::Base. The CLI's full payload is in raw; the attributes above are the fields observed so far.
METHODS
new
Takes a flat list of name/value pairs. Unknown names are ignored.
