NAME

Log::Abstraction::Backend::Object - call a logger object's method for each message

VERSION

0.40

DESCRIPTION

Built for any object given as the logger other than a Log::Any logger or a Log::Dispatch object (see Log::Abstraction::Backend::LogAny and Log::Abstraction::Backend::LogDispatch), e.g. a Log::Log4perl logger. The method named after the level is called with the message's parts, and the structured fields as key=value text. An object without a notice method gets info; one without critical, alert or emergency gets fatal, or else error. Otherwise it croaks.

For use by Log::Abstraction only; see Log::Abstraction::Backend.

METHODS

emit

$backend->emit($logger, $event);
