  • New Features
    • POST /api/ask: Natural language to analysis spec. Translates a plain-English question into an analysis spec by calling the Anthropic Messages API. The model receives only column names and types -- no raw row data, no file paths. The returned spec is validated (column names and kind checked) before being returned. The feature is absent (503) when ai_api_key is not configured. Database::BI::Ask -- new module. Ask... button added to the dashboard toolbar when ai_api_key is set. New test suite t/ask.t.
    • GET /insights: Automatic statistical insights panel. Detects outliers (Tukey IQR fence), period-over-period deltas, top movers by dimension, and seasonality (lag-1 autocorrelation on monthly totals, threshold r>=0.6). No LLM or external service required. Every insight includes a view_url linking to the chart or stats page that shows the underlying data. Database::BI::Insights -- new module; pure arithmetic, no eval. New test suite t/insights.t (218 subtests).
    • Insights button added to the dashboard toolbar (next to Column stats).
    • POST /api/summary: Narrative summary generation. Two paths: deterministic template sentences (offline, always available) and optional LLM polish via the Anthropic Messages API (opt-in, activated by setting ai_api_key in the app config and passing ai=1). Only aggregate insight facts are sent to the LLM -- no raw row data, no file paths. Results are cached in-process for 1 hour. Database::BI::Summary -- new module. Summarize button added to /insights page; Use AI opt-in checkbox shown when ai_api_key is configured in the app. New test suite t/summary.t.
